Welcome to your urban base to relaxation and adventure! Hill Street Cottage is located about 30 minutes from Mt. Bachelor for skiiing and snowboarding, the Pavillion is nearby for ice skating, or sledding in Drake park!

This historic Mill house was previously home to the owner’s family business, Angelina Organic Skincare (AOS) . Now used for a rental so guests can enjoy Central Oregon, it's an airy, tranquil home, surrounded by aromatic, flowering herb gardens.

Sleeping 2-4 and located in Bend's popular Historic neighborhood, this vacation rental is spotless and recently remodeled, featuring historic art and decor mixed with modern lines and conveniences.

THE COTTAGE: A historic Bend Mill House from 1921, and most recently the home of aos Skincare (aka Angelina Organic Skincare) Bend's first artisan skincare manufacturing lab and retail store. The cottage is renovated with recycled wood countertops and newer appliances. A blend of antique and modern décor, mature herb gardens and a spacious fenced backyard tucked in the historic neighborhood of downtown Bend. This house is for the vacationer wanting to take in the beauty of Central Oregon from a location in the midst of it all, while living in classic style.


The kitchen is stocked with full cook and bakeware – as well as utensils. The up-to-date kitchen is fully furnished (except for an automatic dishwasher) and allows you to prepare meals as if you were in your own home. The modern bathroom is stocked with towels and some products from AOS. The laundry room has linens that are provided for sleeping.

The front bedroom features a contemporary queen-size bed and light-blocking shades for restful sleep. The cottage has its own laundry machine and dryer for your convenience. High ceilings give you a sense of openness, and the large windows let in abundant light to brighten the room. Antique hard wood floors complete the space.

The bonus room doubles as a second bedroom and offers a modern futon sleeper couch that converts into a smaller queen-sized bed.

The living space features a flat screen smart HDTV, games and books, space for relaxing, and furnished with framed historical botanical art prints collected by the owners. The spacious back yard includes a comfortable space for relaxing around the fire pit after a fun day exploring downtown Bend or the multitude of outdoor activities that Bend is so famous for.


THE LOCATION:
This Historic Bend cottage is at the heart of the historic district, located within moments walking distance to Franklin Avenue and a few short minutes walk to downtown Bend. Drake Park, galleries, restaurants, breweries and all downtown shopping. It really is in the premier location for a vacationer to experience the beautiful city of Bend. This cottage is all about the location. It is also within easy driving distance to shopping in the Old Mill District, mountain bike and running trails, Mount Bachelor (30 min), and comes with free on-site parking. The many famous reasons for visiting Bend are all within a short walking or driving distance from this cottage: Deschutes Brewery, fantastic restaurants, Bond & Wall Streets, the parks, outdoor concerts, McMenaman's, museums, etc. Electric (and regular) bicycle rentals and tours are available at three convenient locations, all within walking distance.

What a wonderful time my wife and I had staying at the Hill Street Cottage for a fun weekend getaway in Bend. Location is everything in Bend, and this was ideal - an easy walk downtown, and equally easy walk to the Old Mill District. We even walked to a concert at the Les Schwab Amphitheater. It was so wonderful to wake up in the morning, start a fire in the firepit and enjoy our coffee - it was like camping, if you could sleep in a clean home and walk to a gourmet meal for lunch!

The Bend cottage I rented exceeded all my expectations. It was clean and warm and very centrally located. I hope to stay there again the next time I am in Bend.

CANCELLATION POLICY
The cancellation policy associated with your rental agreement will clearly communicate penalties associated with canceling your contract. Note that cancellations due to weather conditions are not permitted. Travel insurance can protect your vacation investment if unforeseen circumstances require you to cancel your trip.

 If Guest cancels his, her, or their reservation not less than 60 days prior to the Arrival Date, COVH will provide Guest a full refund of any rent paid, less a $75.00 processing fee. Guest may change the dates for their reservation not less than 60 days prior to the Arrival Date for a $50.00 processing fee (date changes are subject to market pricing and demand at the time of the change and therefore you are not guaranteed the same pricing you originally booked for). 

 If Guest cancels his, her, or their reservation not less than 30 days prior to the Arrival Date, COVH LLC will provide Guest a full refund of any rent paid, less a 15% cancellation fee.  If Guest cancels his, her, or their reservation less than 30 days prior to the Arrival Date, Guest will not receive a refund. There will be no refunds for early departures. If COVH LLC is able to rebook the home guests will receive a refund, less the cancellation fee. We do highly recommend purchasing travel insurance with your reservation. 

Esignature rental agreement is needed prior to arrival for entrance into home.

MAIL
We are not responsible for mail or packages that are shipped to the property. We do not have access to the mailboxes at many of our homes and cannot retrieve mail for our guests. If you choose to ship an item or mail to the property, please note that it may not arrive. We are not liable for items shipped to the property that are lost, stolen, or otherwise not received.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (10pm-8am), per local city ordinance, are strictly enforced. Guests must be mindful of their noise levels at all times and respect the rules of the community.
