CENTRAL OREGON Spring guide

Between bluebird mornings on the mountain, and days that are getting warmer and longer, spring is one of our favorite times of year in Central Oregon.

SPRING SKIING AT Mt. Bachelor

Don't underestimate a day of spring skiing at Mt. Bachelor. Start your day on the hill with bluebird skies, and finish with aprés ski. And there's good news for spring skiing: parking is now first-come, first-serve with no reservations required! Plus, Visit Central Oregon is offering a new way to get up to the mountain ($32/person roundtrip) that picks up at Bend’s Riverhouse Resort, Peppertree Hotel, and the Sunriver SHARC Center.

Hike Central oregon

Spring weather is ideal for hiking—it's not too hot, and it's (usually) not too cold. We recommend heading to Smith Rock State Park, the Oregon Badlands, Cline Butte, or the Deschutes River Trail.
