Description

McKay Getaway is a charming 2-bedroom 1 bath home on the West side of Bend. The neighborhood is quiet, but full of life just blocks away! Walk to Iron Horse Antiques for a unique souvenir from Central Oregon, you could spend hours sorting through vintage items. Around the corner from the home is one of our favorite local spots called Active Culture, they feature vegan and vegetarian dishes as well as craft cocktails and local beer on tap! Mosey over to Spoken Moto Coffee in the morning for a signature latte or yummy baked good. The Deschutes River walk is just around the block on Gilchrist & Riverfront St. leading to a lovely path that follows the river. Drake Park is close by and great for sledding in the winter months and enjoying the beautiful scenery of Bend.

 

 When you first enter the home, you are welcomed by a cozy living room with lots of seating to enjoy the Gas fireplace, and abundant natural light floods the home. There is a dining nook that seats 4 people, and a kitchen that is fully stocked with all the essentials you might need to cook a gourmet meal or heat up some takeout from one of the local cafes nearby!

The master bedroom offers a comfortable King size bed and extra-large walk-in closet for you to unpack and make yourself feel at home. The guest bedroom features a cozy queen-sized bed, large closet, and lots of gorgeous natural light and charming decor. There is 1 large bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and shower combo, bright lighting, and luxurious linens.

The fully fenced courtyard is a private oasis with mature trees and purple grapes growing on the branches that can be eaten in the summer months, and many native plants to Central Oregon. The patio is wonderful space to decompress after a long day of working or playing in the outdoors. There is a gas BBQ for your use and outdoor seating with a table to enjoy a meal or drinks, of course there is outdoor lighting to set the mood.

CANCELLATION POLICY
The cancellation policy associated with your rental agreement will clearly communicate penalties associated with canceling your contract. Note that cancellations due to weather conditions are not permitted. Travel insurance can protect your vacation investment if unforeseen circumstances require you to cancel your trip.

 If Guest cancels his, her, or their reservation not less than 60 days prior to the Arrival Date, COVH will provide Guest a full refund of any rent paid, less a $75.00 processing fee. Guest may change the dates for their reservation not less than 60 days prior to the Arrival Date for a $50.00 processing fee (date changes are subject to market pricing and demand at the time of the change and therefore you are not guaranteed the same pricing you originally booked for). 

 If Guest cancels his, her, or their reservation not less than 30 days prior to the Arrival Date, COVH LLC will provide Guest a full refund of any rent paid, less a 35% cancellation fee.  If Guest cancels his, her, or their reservation less than 30 days prior to the Arrival Date, Guest will not receive a refund. There will be no refunds for early departures. If COVH LLC is able to rebook the home guests will receive a refund, less the cancellation fee. We do highly recommend purchasing travel insurance with your reservation. 

Esignature rental agreement is needed prior to arrival for entrance into home.

MAIL
We are not responsible for mail or packages that are shipped to the property. We do not have access to the mailboxes at many of our homes and cannot retrieve mail for our guests. If you choose to ship an item or mail to the property, please note that it may not arrive. We are not liable for items shipped to the property that are lost, stolen, or otherwise not received.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (10pm-8am), per local city ordinance, are strictly enforced. Guests must be mindful of their noise levels at all times and respect the rules of the community.
